1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using V4ult("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

V4ultis an AI-powered document intelligence platform that allows users to scan, store, classify, and manage personal documents including receipts, invoices, warranties, subscriptions, and contracts. The Service includes an AI assistant ("Ask V4ult"), shared vault functionality, and automated reminders.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access
• Ensuring the accuracy of documents and data you upload

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content
• Use the Service to infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorised

6. Subscriptions and Billing

V4ult offers Free, Premium, and Family subscription tiers. Premium features require a paid subscription managed through RevenueCat and processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the applicable app store
• Referral rewards (free premium months) are credited after the referred user completes their first confirmed Premium purchase
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice

7. AI Features and Limitations

The AI-powered features of V4ult, including document classification, data extraction, and the Ask V4ult assistant, are provided as-is. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors. You should verify important information independently and not rely solely on AI-generated summaries for legal, financial, or medical decisions.

8. Shared Vaults

The Shared Vaults feature allows you to share documents with invited collaborators. By sharing a vault, you grant collaborators access to the documents within it. You are responsible for managing access and removing collaborators when appropriate.V4ult is not liable for any unintended disclosure resulting from your sharing decisions.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned byV4ult and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. By uploading content, you grantV4ult a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from within the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, V4ULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the jurisdiction where V4ult is incorporated.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
